DeGolddew has a Moist Subtropical climate, which is characterized by warm and wet summers with mild and wet winters, and has spring, summer, fall and winter seasons. Winds in the region are non-existent and the temperature is generally mild with minor variation. Precipitation is excessive, and the sky is cloudy.

DeGolddew sees a trinary star overhead: Bej, a supermassive yellow star; Uuj, a small blue star; and Lul, an average yellow star. DeGolddew also has a single moon: Theropa, a small briliant silver moon. In the night sky, you see nothing unusual.

The government as a whole is seen as sloppy and disorganized. Officials in DeGolddew are often seen as corrupt and nefarious and the policies are honored. The political influence of DeGolddew in the region is declining due to a thwarted assassination attempt. In times of crisis, the population rallies behind its leaders.

DeGolddew is ruled by President Lokon Armortoe. The President has been in power for mere days and is despised by the people. There is minor opposition to the President and policies. The right to rule was granted by appointment, and that power is maintained through the acclaim of the nobles.
